Instructions

Cyclosporin (used to manage some immune deficiency diseases), when used prophylactically can cause gastric ulcers. It is important to complete the full course of cyclosporine before meals, as this medicine can interfere with the absorption of this drug. If you notice any symptoms of a stomach ulcer, particularly if they occur, it is important to contact the doctor immediately. It is not recommended to take a double dose of cyclosporin to help prevent serious side effects. Also, not to be taken in larger packs, it is recommended to take the full course of cyclosporin with a multivitamin supplement. Inform your doctor if you have a medical history consistent with the symptoms of diabetes such as severe liver disease, severe kidney disease, narrow-angle glaucoma, or if you are taking any other medicines, to prevent possible interactions with cyclosporin.

What is Nexium (esomeprazole)?

Nexium is a H2 antagonist H+ product. It increases the amount of an enzyme called proton pump inhibitors (PPI). When there is too much PPI, an enzyme called H2, it urges the stomach to break down Nexium. Nexium then passes through the gut, where it is broken down into its proton pump-inhibitors, which is where the name “esomeprazole” comes in) This combination was designed to be easier to swallow than some of the other similar brands that we have available. With just one pill, you would be swallowing an entire tablet and would need to take another four to six tablets to be approved for swallowing.To take an entire tablet, break it into smaller pieces and place them in a glass of water. How should I take Nexium?

Nexium is taken as a single dose. You will take the pill for four days. If Nexium is within 12 hours, we will give you a full prescription. You will be able to swallow the tablet and take your time to get all the usual contents of the tablet (water, grapefruit juice, some sugar, nutritionally dense food) with your next dose. If you have this condition and not taking it as directed, we may not have a dose. Do not take this medicine if you are pregnant or trying to get an H2 medication. You should not be allowed to have a baby while taking this drug as it could cause complications.

How long does it take for Nexium to work?

Nexium works for 4 to 6 hours. If your condition does not improve after 12 hours of refilling your prescription for Nexium, we suggest you take the next day.

Can I take Nexium with antacids?

Yes, you can take Nexium with most prescription medications. We do not recommend that you have an antacid alongside Nexium. The antacid may decrease the effectiveness of the medication and may increase its side effects. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you have questions about using the medication as this one with the antacid do not contain aluminum or magnesium and you do not have any antacid medication do not take this medicine if you are allergic to esomeprazole or any other medications it contains.

Can I take Nexium and antacids together?

Yes. There is no such other drug combination approved for this condition. You will be taken apart for 6 to 8 hours. If you have an H2 medication, take it for 3 to 6 hours. You should be on just one pill, and will be at its starting dose.

Can I take Nexium and antacids when other medications have been stopped?

Taking Nexium and antacids together can be dangerous. Normally, antacids dissolve faster in your mouth than they do in your stomach. You can take Nexium if you have an H2 medication, an antacid, or if you have a burning or upset stomach with the medication.

Nexium 14-HR:Nexium is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) used to treat reflux, heartburn, and acid reflux. It is used for the reflux caused by heartburn and gastrooesophageal reflux (GERO).

Dosage/Direction for Use

Adults:Proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) other brands or classifications as follows: ibuprofen, nurofen, duloxetine, generic versions of nurofen, generic versions of n. 1 and n. 14,or hyoscine, extended-release tablets of extended-release form of hyoscine, extended-release form of extended-release hyoscine, extended-release tablets of extended-release as tablets, extended-release nurofen tablets, extended-release tablets of extended-dose-supply-leyesophageal-acid (expiry) forms of n. 14,or hyoscine, the the active ingredient in this product, was selected as it has a higher absorption rate into the stomach and therefore is more widely distributed in the esophagus.
